As you know, I love fitness and sports. For more than a year I’m fanatic about working out on the pilates reformer. It’s one of three pilates machines, on which you do the exercises. The other two are called “chair” and “trapez”. But these I haven’t tried out yet.
Pilates on the reformer was a whole new experience! Before that I’ve known pilates as a work out on the mat. After having a few sessions with my personal trainer on the mat, I was so curious to find out, how pilates would feel like, when you do it on a reformer. So I told my trainer, that I wanna try it. She was enthusiastic about my idea too and told me right a way, that I’m gonna love it. She was so right!
Since I’ve been working out on the reformer, I tell everyone, that this machine is the only thing (besides to a crosstrainer for the cardio) I’d need in my future apartement to keep my body in shape and get my muscles burn.
On the one hand it’s much more efficient doing pilates on the reformer than on the mat, because your arms and legs are much more demanded on the reformer. On the other side it supports you carrying out certrain exercises. An other pro of the reformer are the various exercises you can do. It’s a fullbody workout, it’s never boring, it’s dynamic and you feel every muscle afterwards.
If you have the opportunity to go on a pilates reformer class, try it! It’s worth it.
I never wanna give up my reformer workouts and there was no single time I wasn’t excited to go! Honestly!
